Gastroenterology of Greater Orlando welcomes Laurie Letizia, PA-C to our staff.
Laurie is originally from Montgomery, AL. She received her undergraduate education at Mercer University in Macon, GA, in 2010 and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA, in 2012. Laurie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Laurie previously practiced in Atlanta, GA. Her experience includes four years with colorectal surgery and most recently in gastroenterology as an inpatient provider. She relocated to Orlando, FL, in December 2020 and joined Gastroenterology of Greater Orlando in January 2021. Laurie’s patient-centered approach emphasizes education and collaborative, evidence-based decision-making to achieve her patients’ best possible outcomes.
Laurie is excited to put down roots in Florida. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking, hiking, and going to the beach.
